Enter: Bright Automotive
We are an American company comprised of automotive entrepreneurs, including some of the most experienced hybrid-electric vehicle and battery pack engineers in the industry. We created in less than 12 months what some automotive companies take years to achieve: an all-new, efficient, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that customers want to buy and can afford. Our new concept vehicle is called the IDEA. Fleet leaders and industry experts were given a preview of the IDEA on April 8, 2009, at a customer reveal. The vehicle was in Washington, D.C., on April 21, 2009, for a special briefing with lawmakers, corporate leaders, energy industry experts and Bright Automotive executives. The IDEA and our battery pack solutions were then revealed to the world in May 2009 at the Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS24) in Norway.

UtopiaBright eSolutions
We want our technological breakthroughs to shift the transportation sector toward efficient and economical solutions as soon as possible. That is why we are offering high-caliber automotive solutions to our customers. We are currently offering battery packs, PHEV and EV vehicle conversions, hybrid system development consulting and alternative powertrain modeling simulations.

We have products in customer hands and on the road now. For the United States Post Office, a LLV was converted to electric drive and is delivering mail in Washington DC with no tailpipe emissions.

For the Department of Defense, we have converted a diesel vehicle into a PHEV delivering significantly improved fuel efficiency and emission free operation mode. This vehicle also has operating V2G and site power capabilities.
